Beautiful Overnight in Strasbourg.

Excellent hotel,warm staff. We were upgraded to a suite which was very big and beautiful. The location was fantastic. For sure take this hotel on our next visit.

Great location. General decor of the hotel is 'tired' but the room itself was large, well-appointed and comfortable. Didn't have dinner there. Parked outside the hotel in a public area, which was acceptable. Hotel car park too small for my vehicle.

The location was excellent, with the added convenience of being within walking distance to great restaurants. The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring a comfortable stay. My wife, recovering from surgery, needed to use the elevators, and the hotel was fully equipped to meet accessibility needs. It was a wonderful visit to Strasbourg, with the perfect base for exploring the city.

This is a very lovely old world hotel in a charming quiet neighborhood and a 10 minute walk to Old Town. Room was large and very well appointed. Staff very helpful. We suggested to management to install a grab bar in the nice bath/shower to ensure safe entry and exit.

Parking your vehicle to unload your luggage is terrible, no designated parking space for customers. Once your luggage is unloaded from your car you have to down a flight of stairs to the lobby. Elevator is only the size for 2 people and their bags. It's a old hotel and it's time to apply fresh bright paint or nice wallpaper in the hallways and replace the carpet. 4 star hotels are meant to be upgraded and beautiful. Location wasn't bad, as my wife and I walked downtown in only 15 mins.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Regent Contades Strasbourg. The lady who checked us in was welcoming, professional and friendly. We were advised of our VIP rewards without even having to mention them. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, quiet and clean. Although there were renovations going on within the hotel we weren't inconvenienced once and there was no noise associated with them. The range of food for breakfast was lovely but our only disappointment was how crowded the dining room was as our seats were very close to those around us and made it awkward getting up and down from the table. The hotel is elegant and well situated close to the city centre. It only took us about 10 minutes to walk to Cathedral Notre-Dame-de-Strasbourg. We would definitely recommend staying here in Strasbourg.

Not a four star hotel

This is NOT a four star hotel. For the price it was outrageous. It is not walkable to the train station - we had to Uber there. The hotel is not grand. Entrance is in the basement and the elevator only goes up 4 floors and we were on the the fifth floor in another building from the main hotel. They cobbled two buildings together and the elevator was in the original building. So we had to take bags up two flights - one to get to the 4th floor of the other building and one to get up to 5th floor. They did help us take the bags up. Artwork was wonderful but that doesn't make it a 4 star hotel. Son slept on the pull out couch whose mattress was so thin that he was uncomfortable all night. Our bed was fine. Bathroom was nice with the toilet in a separate room and it had two sinks in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and in the elegant dining room - too bad our room was nothing like this. Buffet was complete with meats, cheese, fruits etc. The staff was very nice and helpful. Location was good to the cathedral and walking around Strasbourg's attraction. No complaints with location. But this is not a 4 star hotel although it looks like it from the outside.
