The location is good: quite close to L’Homme de fer tram station, and about 10 minutes walk to the cathedral and Petite France. The apartment has plenty of room. However, it needs a refresh. The paint is chipped and marked; the bottom of the bathroom cupboard is chipped and worn; the mirror had a large crack in it; and the whole place feels a bit tired. Note there are no staff Saturday after noon and Sunday, as well as evenings.

The location is great. Otherwise:dated, old condition, very noisy with absolutely no sound proofing (street not busy, all was noisy within hotel. You could hear everything outside room- doors slamming, cleaning at 0700) no front desk for much of time (we were told at check in there’d be no one sfter 7 pm, but not that there would be no one after 11 on Saturday and saw no one at front desk Sunday- this was a problem as we ran out of stuff and had to go buy our own and no breakfast availability-just should have been told). . Very hot in room despite open window and it being October (can’t imagine this place in summer). Would not recommend.

The squeaky inner door of the apartment is the only annoyance in the stay. Other than that, it was really nice. The location was pretty good too. Not too far from town and close enough to the Gare to easily make it to our train.

This is like a hotel and dorm at the same time. You have to wash your dishes and take out your trash. Having said that, I liked having a kitchenette and the bed was comfortable, so I would stay there again. Great location for the Strasbourg Christmas markets!

The spot of the Apartment/hotel was just perfect, very close to everything (and the train station), stores,markets, food...everything. The room was very clean with all the necessary for a few days stay.

The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the historic center and the train station. Reception has very limited hours, but they are attentive. The rooms are clean, the bed very comfortable, and the linens clean. However, it needs better maintenance: the clothes hangers are useless, the bathroom mirror is broken, and the shower curtain is very stained.

Very well-located hotel

The location of the hotel is very good. We walked everywhere. Despite the winter cold, the hotel was very warm. There were kitchen utensils and we were able to use the small kitchen functionally.

Great location for the Christmas markets. Room was clean and spacious for a European Hotel. Breakfast was a bonus since I we didn't know it was included. No eggs. Cereal, yogurt, fresh bread, juice, fruit and a little meat and cheese. We didn't use the kitchen, but they brought a coffee pot that I didn't end up using since it was available at breakfast.

Location is good - close to all the downtown action - bars, restaurants, public transport (an excellent system around the city) and a couple of blocks from the beautiful sites around Petite France. Unit nothing fancy but functional.

Amazing very central location, friendly staff, good value for money (especially if you are thinking of cooking or need a fridge in the room). Super quiet room with some interesting view to older buildings. Warm water and the heating worked well. The beds are extremely comfortable, which made our stay worthwhile, as we barely stayed in the room, just to rest at night. We used the utensils available to cook small meals, it was convenient.The city is super cute and great

Everything was good and the location was perfect to move around the city by foot. Only one thing to improve in my opinion: we run out of toilet papers and since there was no daily Cleaning nor reception assistance in the evening and on Sunday, we couldn't communicate it.

Good value and clean enough for the money if booking for <$100/night solely given its central location-they raise prices for the holiday. However you should be aware that: The building is also student housing. Staff is not there at night or over the weekends. There is no housekeeping service for less than 7 days (ie same towels and sheets for six days). And you have to take your own trash out at the end of the stay. The rooms have broken shelves and peeling veneer in the bathroom, and the shower curtain is like half the size it should be.
