"Excellent location but the communication from the hotel wasn’t good. I messaged the hotel the morning of my arrival after not receiving a key code (the place is unmanned). I arrived at the property and still had not received any instruction to gain access. Then I had to make a very expensive phone call to the people that run the property and was told “oh you should never book with Expedia as we can’t contact you there.” Not very helpful. "Very nice room with walk into the garden. Excellent breakfast, fantastic fresh bread rolls. The linked pub has great meals."

"I was quite pleased with my stay here. It was perfect and economical for my purposes. The staff person was quite nice and helpful, and while the front is not open all the time, it's easy to get in and out. It isn't a town that is open all hours, so don't expect to eat late at night, but it's definitely charming and the hotel was a part of that!"

"Die Zimmer in der Nöhe der Lobby sollten gesperrt werden. Das Personal sollte ja informiert sein, dass die Lobby gerade abends genutzt wird, um sich gemeinsam zu treffen. Dadurch ist der Lautstärkepegel auch sehr hoch."
