"Wow! This hotel was wonderful. We had a horrible stay the night before in Cologne and arrived via train quite early so we could visit the Christmas markets. It was raining and we were tired. Upon arrival, we had only intended to drop off our bags but, to our surprise, both of our rooms were ready early so we were able to check in! The rooms were fabulous and had everything you could have wanted. The staff was wonderful. The property was beautiful. Could not more highly recommend staying here."

"The room was spotless, with pleasant decoration and amazing feeling pillows and duvet. There is space for free of charge parking and if the location is convenient to you then it is highly recommended. WiFi connection was great in general and they asked me to pay 15 euros extra as I arrived at 12:30 and asked to check in, in case the room was ready. Or I had to wait for a couple of hours which I found odd as that policy didn't quite resonate with me, since the room was available already. There is also an ALDI super market right next to it, if you'd like to do some shopping."

"The place was reasonably priced, and although a little old, it was clean and tidy—overall, good value for the money. However, checking in was not a pleasant experience. There is no reception, and I had to go into the restaurant to find the staff, who were neither friendly nor helpful. It almost felt like I was being treated as if I were staying for free rather than as a paying guest. I hope they can work on their hospitality, as it was disappointing to see such lack of care."

"Perfectly acceptable. If you are looking for an affordable place this is just fine. The beds were beds and the room was a room. The only problem we had was the top bunk had dirt marks on the sheet and most of the blankets had holes in them. Otherwise fine. "
