"I had planned this on just going out and getting some RnR , both my wife and I needed to get away and relax in nature. We were both VERY HAPPY, LUCKY AND EXCITED upon arrival. This place is truly a hidden treasure, We both loved it and it was really what we needed. If you love adventure and the outdoors this place is definitely worth the place for you. It’s good for the entire family all the amenities for kids of all ages big kids too. Special thanks to Nick our host- bartender. And also Ivan the chef ( great lasagna and hamburger) and the trio cheese dip was delicious. We’re definitely going back out there again as that is our home away from home place. Thanks y’all for for an awesome weekend.."

"We chose this area because our daughter is a freshman at Tarleton State University and the home was only about a 40 minute drive from campus. It ended up being the perfect place for our family getaway!The home is beautiful, incredibly comfortable and has the most amazing views! It truly felt like a home away from home. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to make cooking a breeze, including pots, pans, and spices! Having a dishwasher and washer/dryer was such a convenient bonus.We loved spending our evenings around the fire pit making s’mores and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The hike down to the lake may look a little intimidating at first, but don’t let it scare you! It’s not nearly as bad as it looks, and even our 6 year old had no trouble making the trip. Plus, the lake is absolutely worth it! We had the best time swimming and enjoying the kayaks.This home had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable family getaway! We made so many wonderful memories and will absolutely be returning every chance we get! Thank you so much for having us, Stephanie "

"We absolutely loved this property! We came up for a wedding in the area thinking we would have more time to enjoy it. So we will definitely have to come back! Charles was amazing! He checked on us frequently making sure we didnt need anything. We finally had some free time Monday morning si he took us out on his boat and gave us a tour of the lake. We so enjoyed it. I cannot wait till we can come back!"

"If you enjoy country life this is a little slice of heaven. Very clean and comfortable inside and absolutely stunning outside. Great outdoor covered area and gorgeous view of the land and pond. They have things for all ages to do on site. We planned on eating out in town while there but ended up grocery shopping and cooking in so we could just hang out and enjoy the scenery. Very well stocked with amenities. A weekend wasn’t enough time to enjoy this place!"

"Unique property on the shore of Palo Pinto Lake. The boat house was a really neat feature, and the main cabin had everything you need to cook your own meals. Didn’t get to enjoy the massive fire pit due to the current burn ban, so def will have to return! Make sure to bring everything you need, or you will be making a 30 trip to Mineral Wells. It is ISOLATED but perfect."
