"Great place to stay. Drinks and milk provided in the fridge along with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and items for breakfast which was a lovely unexpected touch. Free parking on site was also available. It was very hot on our weekend here but they had provided a large fan and the blinds lowered at the window brought down the temperature a touch. It is sited just out of the town centre of Stroud and we walked in along the side of the canal which was lovely and shady - just a short distance...

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Stroud Hotel. The staff were welcoming on our arrival and we enjoyed an excellent meal and well prepared cocktails at lunchtime (I can highly recommend the risotto.) There was everything we needed except milk for the room but we were given fresh milk on request which, whilst lovely, wasn’t necessary as small cartons of UHT would have been fine for our short stay.
