The Village - Chia Laguna Sardinia

"Lovely room with mini fridge, great shower and balcony and really comfortable beds. Brilliant free activities for kids and teens morning 10am, afternoon 3pm and night 9pm. Watch out for the special kids activities like art classes that come with an extra charge as these at €25 are quite pricey. Activities for adults and kids are shared across three hotels in Chia Laguna so padel and table tennis were across the road but only a couple of minutes walk. There was no yoga on when we stayed which was disappointing. Food at Domus restaurant was plentiful and varied, no junk food which was great but no pizza or gelati (if you want pizza or ice cream you need to buy it from the piazza bar). Restaurant servers were not very friendly, except for the guys bringing out the food who were excellent and very helpful. There is an optional surcharge added to your bill on check out for tips for waiting staff. There is handy free road train that goes to the beautiful sandy beach nearby every 15 minutes which is brilliant. The water is clear and safe for swimming. There is a beach bar for drinks snd ice cream and an excellent water sports centre. We went horse riding near the hotel: 1hr beginners ride €45pp. We only spent a little time by the hotel pool which has a snack bar because the sun beds were so hard and uncomfortable. The beach sun loungers are divided up by hotel so the Village section has hard sun loungers. Conrad guests get lovely padded loungers so we used them in the back row."

"La maison était tout à fait agréable, le propriétaire très réactif. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La vaisselle et la batterie de cuisine étaient peut-être un peu sommaires mais ce sont des broutilles. Les photos ne montrent pas qu’il y a un vis-à-vis et une vue sur sa terrasse très proche mais c’est une famille discrète et le voisinage est très sympathique. Bravo et merci!"

"We stayed as a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children age 6&10 years. Easily could have accomodated another 2 adults. Accomodation was exactly as described. Very clean. Air con very much valued! Swimming pool was stunning - large, well kept and beautiful view. Eating dinner and breakfast looking out to sea and the flamingo lake was idilic. Area felt very safe - villa is at the end of a street of nice looking villas. Hiring a car is essential to get around. Everything we needed was at the villa. Diego had left us washing machine liquid, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc - all the useful items you could need. BBQ coals were included too and tea and coffee. Diego was extremely helpful with suggestions for different times during our stay. The villa had a beach umbrella and beach chairs, bucket and spade to borrow as well. We enjoyed the local beaches and also took a beautiful drive for an hour south to more beaches! Chia had a few restaurant options and adequate supermarket supplies. There were more options in Pula and we enjoyed the evenings in the piazza there as well as the gelato! Overall I have no hesitation in recommending this villa and Diego's wonderful hospitality."

"We had a wonderful stay and felt at home from the very first moment. The entire property is truly a dream – very spacious, beautifully designed, and with more than enough room. There were four of us, three adults and one child, and we had plenty of space to ourselves.One of the absolute highlights was the pool – simply amazing! After a day at the beach, it was perfect to jump into the pool once more and end the day in a relaxed way.The home itself was also very well equipped. We really didn’t miss a thing, and you have everything you need.The beaches around Chia are easy to reach on foot. Depending on which beach you want to visit, it takes around 10–15 minutes.You should, however, be someone who enjoys being close to nature. We would have loved to eat outside in the evenings, but apparently the wasps had the same idea But that’s simply part of nature and, of course, not something the hosts can control.If you prefer to eat out in the evening, we can definitely recommend the nearby Mirage Restaurant!We would also especially like to mention the excellent communication with Nicoletta. She was always available, very helpful, and immediately assisted us whenever we had a question or needed anything. Thank you so much, Nicoletta! We really enjoyed our time in Chia and wished we could have stayed longer "
HOUSE ON THE SEA - The blue and white house of the Tower Houses -

"Maison incroyablement bien située.Elle se trouve dans une zone sécurisée par un portail. Le stationnement du véhicule est aisé, même pour un van.Elle est séparée de la plage par un immense jardin verdoyant, qui permet de rejoindre le bord de mer pieds nus ...La maison est fonctionnelle pour les grands groupes, même si la cuisine peut paraître petite, elle permet largement de preparer les repas.Notre réfrigérateur est tombé en panne, on nous en a livré un neuf en 2 heures! Les deux salles de douche ainsi que la douche extérieure sont un atout.La climatisation est très appréciable et fonctionne dans toutes les pièces à vivre, indépendamment.Le jardin autour de la maison permet de faire sécher tout le linge sans difficulté et le barbecue est idéal pour les grillades.La maison est mitoyenne, sans que ça soit gênant, en partant les résidents se laissent les denrées qu ils ne veulent pas emporter, c est très sympathique.La plage est parfaite notamment pour marcher dans l eau le matin, les poulpes sont nombreux du côté des rochers.La boucherie qui se trouve sur la place du marché est également traiteur, c est non seulement pratique pour éviter de trop cuisiner c est aussi très très bon !La proximité du camping permet que manger des glaces différentes de celles que l on peut acheter dans les deux bars de la plage...un regal ! Bref nous reviendrons assurément y compris en réservant plusieurs logements ( il y en a 3 au total) pour faire découvrir se paradis à nos proches."

"We had a fantastic 10 days at the end of June, the property was even better than the great photos, the views down the valley of the mountains, lagoon and sea were breathtaking. The villa is located high up so you have 100% privacy and are not overlooked by anyone. You can be at the beach and a couple of local shops in minutes by car, it is a perfect central location to visit southern Sardinias beaches and amazing scenery. Fabio was the perfect host, completely accommodating and considerate of anything we needed. We felt really welcome and enjoyed the property very much. We will definitely return."
