"Stayed there for 3 nights and was great, staff is very friendly, location is perfect and rooms are clean and spacious, the only downside is having a room with street view because it can get noisy, interior rooms are much better. Overall the hotel is great, I will stay there again next time I go to Quito."
"This was an amazing place to stay!! The history of the building was worth the stay itself, but it was clean and quiet. The managers made us feel like family!"
"Property was very beautiful! Staff ( especially Judith) was spectacular. They were very helpful in coordinating airport transfers, parking, taxis, tours, and excellent restaurant service. 10/10"
"Hotel Casa Montero is a solid choice if you want to stay in the historic center of Quito. The entry courtyard is tranquil and inviting, and the beds are quite comfortable. A particular bonus was the size and functionality of the bath/shower -- really impressive! The staff was fantastic -- very kind and helpful. Overall, I had a great time here!"

"Large, comfortable rooms, nicely decorated. Very good restaurant on site. Excellent breakfast. Located on a popular street in Quito. The staff is very attentive. Hugo, the hotel’s security guard, was especially helpful. We highly recommend and will definitely return to this hotel. "
"The hotel was amazing. The hotel owners (Oswaldo and his wife) were so very kind and they tended to our every need. The excursions which they provide are very helpful and when we need help they provide us with it very well."
"This hotel is a beautiful place. Some rooms remain me my Mother in law house. I got the unique and only big suite with a panoramic View which I enjoy a lot. "
"I had to be let in AND out every time I wanted to get out to explore. Always worried small staff wouldn't be around when I needed them. Staff member asked me for extra money twice. Toilet paper wasn't replaced when used up.
Actual address doesn't exist as hostel - had to be taken around the block to real property, called Hostal Escosie (or something like that). Had to pay extra charge besides Expedia's charge. Good location but otherwise poor place to stay."
Visit this magnificent neo-Gothic landmark to admire its fine architecture and Ecuador-themed gargoyles, and the panoramic views from its immense towers.
