"Cabin was very nice! Actually, quite charming! Sugar Island was a very cool place! Never seen nothing like it! Madison was just a terrific host. Very pleasant and outgoing, to make sure if there was anything we needed throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning in the future."

Sugar Island - Waterfront property with Pontoon boat!

"Dock was in tough shape as were the stairs down to it. Not what you want to be using if you are older. Not the dock shown in the picture. Boat didn’t look as advertised. Thought it was going to be in better shape. It did run just fine though. We needed an extra fan and the host took care of it quickly. The place was pretty clean and nicely decorated. No complaints."

"Arrival was very smooth. Cabin had a wonderful screened porch, with screening under the floor as well to keep out the mosquitos. Kitchen was very adequately stocked with everything you need to cook with and we did enjoy most our meals at the cabin in our week long stay. We have 4 kids aged 8 to 14 and they all enjoyed the water and paddleboards throughout the week. The dock onto the lake was a hit with our family, and was the preferred way to get into the lake to swim. Very quiet area which was exactly what we were looking for. Owner was easy to reach, and prompt with any needs."

"No roll away bed, but this may have been an error on hotels.com website. Luckily there was a Walmart near by so we purchased a twin mattress for 23 bucks so our son and daughter didn’t have to share a bed. Couple small items, the door 3 on the rear entrance didn’t lock. But didn’t feel any reason to fear, pretty nice area. Would stay here again."
