"Our stay here was good. The location is perfect. We were able to go to all the places we wanted to see easily. We loved the view and the beach. Truly beautiful. Chad was quick to reply to questions when we were there. We did have some initial cleaning we had to do upon arrival. And the garage was not working but we were ok not using it for our stay. I would say it is a well loved home and a bit (just a bit) on the rustic side but that was not an issue for us. It truly was a wonderful vacation and we would look to stay here again in the future."

"Sam was a great host and was easy to work with. The house was exactly what we needed and it was stocked with kitchen necessities, bathroom necessities, etc. There was even a small fenced in area for the dogs to go potty/run around without their leashes."

"Our family of 5 and 1 dog had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and everything we needed was supplied. Very close to the ferry to Mackinac Island, as well as the Falls. There is also an amazing fish restaurant/store right around the corner. If you are looking for a quiet home instead of a hotel, then I would highly recommend this one!"

"Really nice presentation when we got there. The lawn was mowed, firewood available, clean cabin. Really peaceful back yard. Lake Brevort was beautiful, caught some nice Northern Pike on my kayak. Local hiking was great (try the Narnia trail over by Cedarville…so cool) mackinaw island of course was beautiful. We had 70’s and sunshine all week. Refreshing..,So Thankful!"

"Had an amazing time! House was perfect for four couples, with plenty of room for our trucks and trailers with side by sides. Loved that the house was so clean and fully stocked with anything we needed. Area was perfect for trail riding. Would definitely return!"

"We absolutely just loved this spot! It’s the perfect off grid, private place to unwind and enjoy nature. The place had everything we needed- including sharp knives which seems like a little thing to be excited over but it was just so lovely to be able to cook dinner without any trouble.Although the place is remote, I feel that some of the reviews regarding finding the place and the driveway were overly dramatic. We had no trouble locating the property and no issues traversing the driveway. One of our cars was a ford fusion- a much smaller, lower vehicle- and we had no issue with whatsoever.We loved listening to the babbling river while enjoying our coffee on the beautiful deck and welcomed the cozy fire pit to end our evenings. We even had an owl gift us with a night song each night. We would happily stay here again should we find ourselves in the area. What a magical place."
