"The lady was cheerful and welcoming at check-in. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and especially the hot tub at the end of a busy day. It was very refreshing having local people working and running the hotel. The majority of hotels anymore are run and managed by foreign people. "

"Everything was very nice, very clean. The property was beautiful, with a gorgeous view. Everything we needed was available. The only very small downside is the neighbors are extremely close, though they are very friendly. Absolutely would stay again!"

"Our family of four had a fantastic time at Palmer’s Cottage. The house is very spacious with tons of space to spread out. There are 3 showers (4 total bathrooms) which was super helpful after the group finished up swimming. The property is spacious and well maintained. There is a large dock and shallow water for floating and fun. There are lots of golf options within 25 minutes that was super convenient for us along with a similar distance to Mackinaw. Overall, great experience and would certainly recommend this cottage!"
"Avoid this place at all costs. It was basically in a trailer park. The place was filthy when I arrived with my two young kids a few hours after check in time. The "Evolve" people have been totally non-responsive despite my multiple calls. I was expected to wait until 10 pm to check in but sorry my kids were already asleep in the place we found. I was unwilling to derail my vacation because of the owner's mistake. AVOID AVOID AVOID. They will steal your money and ghost you."
