"The property was wonderful for our family vacation. It was centrally located for all of the day trips we wanted to take. The cabin was clean and uncluttered. There was sufficient supplies available for cooking and we appreciated the gas grill! The bunkhouse was great for the kids to have their own space and bathroom! The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Our only regret is not using the trails which were literally right across the road! Maybe next time!"

"The property was easy to locate with the sign by the entrance, and was very clean. Parking is on an upper level of grass off the road, and there are a couple ways to walk down to the lower level with the camper. The beach access is also another level down, accessed by a fairly steep grassy hill.We loved having the Adirondack chairs on both levels (camper and beach), and the fact that there is air conditioning in the camper when needed! The bed was comfy and there is ample storage space for belongings. The host even set up a twin air mattress, which fit well in the main living space for my teenager. There were plenty of ants on the property, which didn’t really bother us, just plan your food storage accordingly as when camping, there were minimal inside on our stay.Also plan on having short showers with it being a camper (we had never stayed in one before).It is a wonderful glamping experience with crystal clear waters in the lake and soft white sand! Great for swimming, floating rafts or paddle boarding. The host is next door, available via text and gave us complete privacy. The sunset view from the bedroom was lovely. Within reasonable distance to Oswald’s Bear Rescue, the Log Slide Overlook and waterfall/beach and more! Highly recommend Moose of Nord a few minutes down the road for delicious ice cream, coffee and gifts, and a small grocery directly behind."

"We are a family of four, who only stayed at this hotel to sleep. We left immediately after breakfast. We WOULD stay here again. Keeping that in mind… Pros: -The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful -The property was clean -There were many breakfast choices (eggs & sausage, biscuits & gravy, mini waffles, oatmeal, cereal, etc) -It was quiet. -You can’t beat this price in the area, especially with a breakfast factored in. Con’s: -The property was dated, so the doors needed a hard push to close all the way, the shower squealed, the outlets were loose (only half of them held a plug). -The mattresses desperately need to be replaced. Imagine sleeping on a trampoline…and waking up in a cuddle pile in the middle."

"Cute little rustic cabin in a good location in the U.P. Of Michigan. The place was well stocked and had everything we needed. It is surrounded by apple trees and there’s a little creek right next to it and our toddler had a lot of fun playing in the yard while we had a fire. Roads not too busy most days and the train only went by twice in the week we were there. There was some broken glass in the yard and the mosquitoes were really thick but that can’t really be helped. Overall we enjoyed our stay and this is a great place for a small family or group of close friends. Bring your favorite dvds as there is a working dvd player if you want to have a movie night."

"This cabin stay has become my grandkids favorite week of their busy year. Totally up north feel without the tent. Close to town for necessities. We rented a pontoon from Watson & had a great week of fishing & tubing. Cabin has everything you need - just show up!"

"We experienced a few cleanliness issues when we first arrived, so we reached out to the host. She responded immediately, explained that she was using a new cleaning person, and assured us the issues would be addressed. We really appreciated her prompt communication and willingness to make things right.Overall, this is a very cute property in a great location for everything we wanted to do. The interior was comfortable, cozy, and felt very homey. Despite the initial issues, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. If you're visiting the area, I would recommend considering this property. Great host, great location, and a charming place to stay!"
