"Everything was fine except for the fact that each night we had to completely turn off the heater (and back on during day) and after the second night we had to also unplug the refrigerator. Both were EXTREMELY loud, especially the refrigerator, more than the heater (which most hotels we're used to the louder heaters), which prevented a good night's sleep. Breakfast was just ok. We didn't have time to use the pool. Otherwise no complaints. "

"I was super happy with the whole experience at this cabin. Clean, new, and close to everything we wanted to do: hike, visit waterfalls and Lake Superior, go to the Ice Festival, and Eben Ice Caves. "We were in town to hike and not looking for anything fancy, so this was the perfect place for our low budget. Cheap, old-school motel walking distance from downtown. The staff is nice and helpful - especially Susan! The check-in/check-out process was super easy. Grocery store, bars, restaurants, dispensary within a few blocks. Nothing fancy but a good deal for such a last minute purchase. "

"What a beautiful place! Everything at the Roam Inn is high quality, from the furniture, over the bedding to their service. Even the water kettle in our room was special. Main heat source is the gas fireplace, which quickly warms the living area. Bed was outstanding. Amply provided with towels and washcloths. Despite its fairly isolated location is easy to find and only a mile from the main road (H58). You're in the wilds here, and the stars are bright at night. Highly recommended. "
