"I would say the service and rooftop restaurant were 5 star experiences. Great food, views, and hospitality. However, I wouldn’t consider the hotel itself to be a real 5 star hotel. Maybe it was because its in the old city district and things are just older and more crowded in that area. The trade off is that you are near everything though. Overall, it was a good hotel and I would stay there again, but maybe adjust your expectations on the 5 star designation. "

"had a wonderful stay at Ajwa Hotel Istanbul. The location is excellent—very close to many of the main attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The hotel restaurant was very good, and there are also plenty of great dining options nearby. I also experienced a traditional Turkish bath (hammam) at the hotel, which was a highlight of my stay. What truly stood out was the staff—everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout my visit. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul."

"Our family enjoyed this hotel very much. We booked for 6 nights. We we really liked was great location and wonderful staff like Feride who was so nice to our family. The hotel also has nice swimming pool, sauna, steam room and hammam. Walking distance to Taksim Square, transport link and main shopping street. Breakfast can be improved. Fruits and salads nice and fresh and you can order omelettes. We recommend "

"The hotel was super traditional, and our room was spotless. The staff was really helpful and friendly too. Everything, like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, was just a 15 minute walk away. I had issues with my mobility, so I wouldn't stay on the European side. It's very hilly. The tram was quick and easy to use to get to places. Make sure you have enough data during your stay."
