"Would this property benefit from an update, absolutely but the owner, I think, was absolutely in point. He was courteous and helpful. When he found out I was leaving at 3 in the morning, he offered to make me a snack for my drive to the airport and when I looked in the room fridge I saw that he had given me a bunch of snacks. I would definitely stay there again."

"Loved that it was pet friendly. It was the first time we’ve ever taken our small dog.I especially liked that it was so out of the way and serene. It was so quiet and peaceful and similar to where I grew up in Vermont.Having a little trail along a cut that bordered the road was absolutely loaded with ripe raspberries. I haven’t picked berries since I was a kid. Well equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. Everybody loved the homemade raspberry syrup that I made over ice cream at night.The town of Waitsfield is very quiet but had nice places to eat and an excellent supermarket that had provisions from all of the local gardens, farms, and meat producers.House was clean and a great place to just hang and relax. Communication w owner was easy. Had 1 small issue w a blown breaker and she responded immediately.All in all an excellent place in a gorgeous spot"

"We had a wonderful time and would love to return again! Our family with five young children and four adults had plenty of room to spread out. It was very peaceful, the screened in porch overlooking the mountains was especially memorable. My kids loved the pool and hot tub- plenty of floats and goggles available. The kitchen had everything we needed (except for a vegetable peeler!) and the hosts were so thoughtful to even have a "sharing shelf" of basic food supplies if needed. Only thing was the queen guest room upstairs didn't have a window air conditioner unit, but they did have a window fan and that helped. It was especially warm a couple days we were there, but it cooled down quickly enough overnight with the fan. The other rooms facing the sun had an air conditioner, and were plenty cool! Can't wait to go back!"

"Beautiful home that just needs a few tweeks to live up to the name “luxurious”. With a few amenities added this could be a perfect get away. Our family had a great time but the gourmet kitchen lacked a few basics as did the bathrooms."

"The house was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and exactly as pictured in the listing. The hosts were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, providing excellent local recommendations that made our stay even better. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"
