"Super expensive weekend rates for 3-star quality hotel/borderline motel. It's nice to be on the beach but a nearby short term rental would have been similar price and nicer."

"The front desk clerk on day shift was super helpful and friendly. She recommended restaurants and things to do on the island. Night shift clerk wasn't nearly as friendly. There is very little parking at the hotel and it is tight, not good for big vehicles. Most parking is one street over in the overflow lots. The cleaning staff woke us up well before 8 am talking extremely loud in the hallway repeatedly, not just once. At home we get up early and prefer to be able to sleep in on vacay. It's a great location and you can walk to all the restaurants and shops easily. For the price, we probably will rent a condo next time as the hotel is really old and while clean, is a bit run down."

"This is the third time we have stayed here to start an annual vacation in the Charleston area. The hotel was great on our first stay and still is. Our room had a slick design and was very comfortable. The hotel’s location is convenient for eating and shopping in Mount Pleasant, but also allows easy access to Charleston by car. It is also fairly priced."

"The room was clean, well laid out and a great amount of space. We found the hotel to be great overall, the only slight consideration is the restaurant on the first floor is quite busy, you really need to make reservations most of the time. Also be mindful that if you leave the hotel or need to go to the lobby it's often quite crowded as people wait for seating at the restaurant. We will definitely stay here again."
