Comfortable place in a fantastic spot
The house is in a great location just far enough off US 1 to be quiet with a terrific view, but easy for local trips or runs down to key west. The bedrooms and baths make it comfortable for a family or a larger group and the patio outside is fantastic.

Okay but Pricey
This house is definitely in need of some updating. The kitchen cabinets are old and worn. The exterior of the house also needs some repairs. Honestly I could overlook if I’d paid half the amount. The price seems extremely high for this property. The beds were comfortable but nothing else was. The couches were terribly hard and rigid. The patio furniture was also uncomfortable. The table under the tiki hut was almost ready to fall apart. The dock is definitely unusable. No handrails and barely reaches the edge of the water. Disappointed we couldn’t use it for fishing. I couldn’t smell chlorine in the pool but we did take time to skim and clean it. Dipped our toes in but no hand rails or depth marking if you have kids. The bathrooms were fairly nice. The floors are white marble tile and seem dingy with age. I’m not saying it wasn’t clean, it was. It just wasn’t the luxury I expected for this price. Also you are near a bridge on Route 1 so there is road noise. I just wanted to leave an honest and candid review for future renters.

Great for Adults only or Families
We rented this home for an adults only trip to the Keys. It was a mix of related and not related couples, but we had a blast and everyone had space. The second room only having access through the master worked for us since we had related people on the trip, but it was a minor inconvenience and we knew about it when we booked. If you had young kids with you, it would probably be a great fit. We brought bikes and had fun exploring Summerland. The tiki bar (Tonio's) is walking distance and a great little hangout. There are lots of other places 5-10 min drive. Key West is about 30 mins and Ubers are expensive, so just plan on that if you're going to party there. Owner was supportive and great to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again for adults only or with kids.

Awesome Spot!
Came here for a friends and family trip. Everything was as expected. Really cool house, just a quick ride to key west, but also plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Loved it!

Wasn’t told pool wasn’t going to be able to be used until 3 hours before we arrived, found out later from another local source pool had been unusable for sometime , was given discount for this but wouldn’t have rented if we had prior knowledge, will never rent VRBO again

Unfortunately, we had a hurricane 2 days before his booking, so the pool was temporarily damaged and could not be repaired before his stay. We found at the very last minute, that one of the components was not working and were forced to wait to finish the repairs for parts. We offered compensation to the guest and after explaining the situation offered him the choice of canceling his stay or a discount to which he assented. We only found out now, he was dissatisfied with his stay. The pool is fully functional, and the property has no problem now.

Amazing property!
We had a group of 10 people and every single person enjoyed their stay at this property. The property was amazing, very clean and had everything you could need for your stay. The location was perfect, there was multiple gas stations/ restaurants in the area. The host was very responsive and left champagne, chocolates, and flowers for our stay. I definitely would recommend this property to anybody looking for a nice spot to vacation in the keys and I will definitely be booking again in the future.

Key west trip
Overall the property was beautiful and In good condition ..there was only 2 problems we encountered…. Not a great location If you are there for Key West.. The property manager stated in our messages that it would be 20-25 minutes to downtown key west and it ended up being 40-45min drive which was very inconvenient. Another thing is the pool will turn your hair green if you have lighter hair so be cautious of that if you are going to be swimming in the pool a lot. Other than the location and my hair turning green the property itself was good.

I feel deceived. This property is misrepresented and very poorly maintained. There is no beach, it is an overgrown mess of rocks and bushes. The dock is not under renovation; the new materials are covered over with weeds. The dock has been under repair since 2017. The dock you see in the picture is not the one you get. We came to go diving and had a boat rental that we couldn’t leave at the house. Other than that, everything is adequate and Mariana the host is very responsive. I won’t rent this property again

From being surrounded by nature to the pituresque sunrises & sunsets, the property stay is most accommodating. Amenities included are everything from staying in or adventuring out. Something for all ages. Great communication and assistance from the host. Perfect location for a relaxing or fun filled family or everything event.

Yellow House, Summerland Key
We loved this house! Exactly as listed, tons of room, clean, and an excellent location to use as our base for exploring the Keys! The pool was a perfect treat to come back to at the end of the day, and we enjoyed grilling outside and the tiki bar for outdoor dinners. The owner was quick with replies to questions and made the whole experience easy. Highly recommend this for anyone who wants a great location with plenty of space!

Great Views & Great Location
We loved our month in The Keys… the location was great to explore lower, middle and Key West. The view was fantastic, open water everywhere, we sat outside on porch every morning and night just to watch the water, birds, boats and sun. The pool was perfectly heated and always clean - one of our favorite daytime activities was laying around the pool and Tiki hut.

Fabulous private Florida Keys treasure
The private waterfront location was exactly what we were looking for. The heated pool was fabulous. The Tiki hut provided nice outside lunches. Outdoor grill iand outdoor kitchen set up was super! The house accommodated so many but they were only two of us. We enjoyed the spaciousness. Would recommend to others. Very stocked kitchen, any pan or utensil you could possibly need was there.

This property is not as listed
This property is completely misrepresented. It is very poorly maintained. Manager was not helpful and rude. There is no beach, it is a rocky overgrown mess. The dock is not under renovation, the new materials are all govern over with weeds. It is just a complete hazard. Lights were out over pool table so could not even use it. There is not 4 bedrooms. It is a 3 bedroom with a porch. The porch has been turned into a bedroom with a portable air conditioner. The air conditioner is not strong enough to keep it cool. We had to have 5 kids ranging in age from 8 - 19 sleep in the bedroom upstairs. The fridge is on a pallet and the cabinets are all mismatched. The sink was leaking and the person they sent to fix it had no idea what they were doing. We found food in the couch and almost positive the second bedroom has bed bugs. Had a cluster of bites starting on day 2 of trip. To top it all off, they charged us for damages we did not do. Stay far away from this property.

These guests were the worst nightmare. Not only did huge damage to the property. In all our years in business, we never had to appeal to charge anyone for damage. These guests are not capable of telling the truth. Definitely we would not host then again.

The location of this home is perfect. The pictures online are very old and there is no dock for a boat. The furniture needs to be changed out as it is very old and dirty. There is no STOVE and the Dishwasher didn't work. It has so much potential but it is being left to deteriorate.

Terrific property, location, and hostess!
This home is a true beach-house. The location is private and very serene, with a lot of wild life and great fishing! The property owner was extremely accommodating, not only getting housekeeping to move up our arrival time, but also left us beautiful flowers on the dining table, a box of Turkish candy, and a nice bottle of french wine. I look forward to visiting again when the dock is rebuilt. We all had just a wonderful time. The beds were truly awesome and we had everything that we needed/wanted. Hats off to a well run vacation rental and thoughtful property owner.

I booked this house for my husband for a guys trip to the keys and they said the house was awesome- close enough to key west for a day trip and a nice space to hang out by the pool on days they didn’t have anything planned. There was a mix up with the reservation and the property manager was SO accommodating and helped resolving it.

Gorgeous house with gorgeous views!
This house is a very comfortable house with great amenities! The outdoor space is really nice and accommodating. The only reason it gets only 4 stars is because it doesn't have an oven! We purchased cookie dough and pizza before realizing there was no oven but we were able to cook them on the really nice outdoor grill. One other recommendation I would have is that the management clean up the dock area, but I was able to snorkel anyway.

The pool and view were amazing
Very private. Loved swimming in pool, grilling fish, great deck to relax on. Beds were comfortable. Only complaint was kitchen utensils and the leak under the sink. Overall great place to stay.

Wonderful Girls Trip
Several wonderful days in this beautiful home was just what we needed for our girls trip. The home was beautiful, clean and came with everything we needed. The heated pool is where we spent our days and it didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend this home!

Property was great. House was clean and easily accessible. Spent lots of time in the pool and the outdoor areas. Wish the doc had been completed and the hammock had still been there, but otherwise perfect! House is set up great for friends or family. Would definitely stay here again!

Quarantined in the Keys 🥰
Beautiful property gorgeous views! My best part of the house was when it got dark and the entire place lit up omg! It would’ve been nice to be able to walk the dock and do some night fishing but it was in pieces. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves quarantined in the Keys!
