Fabulous chalet

This place is perfect for large groups. 5 bedrooms, huge kitchen and living room. Lots of space for people to relax. The host replied in a timely manner to my questions. Location is good. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Home

The house is spacious and beautiful. We have stayed here multiple times now. The host is considerate and very easy to deal with and the accommodations are exactly as listed. It is quiet here and the Sunshine Valley area is a great place to get away from the city for a weekend. Highly recommended!

A fabulous Get Away

The pictures don’t do the home justice😃, The log cabin, is spacious, has everything you need and is super cozy. The bedrooms were more than spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with all the baking equipment's and supplies, the great room can host a nice gathering of people. There are loads of amazing games and books.We had ages 13-79 and everyone enjoyed themselves!

Thanksgiving retreat

Getting a home big enough for a family thanksgiving weekend was the solution we needed. This house was perfect. Lots of living room space and a well layed out kitchen solved so many problems. Vrbo always has their fee add ons for the initial shock but that’s business. To the owners we thank you. Thank you for building a home in sunshine valley and sharing it with us.

Families Grathering

Had a families gathering with young children. Lots of bedrooms to provide space each family unit. Large kitchen space to cook as a group. Although there were board games overflowing from the games cabinet, the kids went with the classic memory mataching game and loved it. Would recommend to others if wanting a larger space than Manning Park. Only downside is the drive into Manning Park.

Great getaway

This is a great place for a larger family and has everything one would need. A well stocked kitchen to cook and bake. All your linens and towels. Our kids loved the big double tub AKA mini swimming pool. The bedrooms being on different levels allowed some separation from all the kids and us " a wee older adults". The location is central to many things, tho a bit of a drive to places. It was a great spot to explore nature with the hikes and little lakes, but also close enough to go into the city. Hope Side and Manning park are a must. Also the Hope Recreation centre is amazing and the Lake in the Woods is a fun pit stop for a swim (be prepared for a steep climb down to it) If you wanted a down day the games and movies were fun. There was a fire ban so we couldn't have a bonfire but we had fun regardless. We came from the Okanagan and this area is cooler and rained, so it was wonderfully refreshing. Our crew (11 of us + 1 small fur member) had a great time and really enjoyed our time in Sunshine Valley.

This is a quiet family oriented area that perfectly fit our family. It’s close to good hikes and Manning Park. The home is well fitted out with kitchen items and linens throughout.

Canada Day quad trip

Our group really enjoyed Sunshine Valley and this spacious property. There happened to be a free concert while we were there as well. Don was quick to answer some initial questions and from then on there were absolutely no issues.

Wonderful getaway

Don's house is a beautiful home in a great location for a weekend getaway or ski vacation. It is spacious and warm and has an ideal layout for a large number of guests. We will be back!
