The TV remote wouldn't operate when I pressed the appropriately marked Red on/off button. Journeyed down to reception to be told to press the No 1 channel button !! Back up ten floors come the time to sleep no button would turn it off. After searching for 10 minutes I pulled out the cable from the underside of the set wich was housed in a hardly accessible cabinet. Shower floor cracked and peeling very unhygienic. No usb sockets it's 2026

I’ve stayed here twice now, this time was just a quick overnight because my daughter lives in Mount Stuart sq, so very close. This time was fine, it was a very hot night but the fan they supplied worked well. The window did not shut which seemed a bit odd, was a bit concerned the multiple pidgeons and gulls in the square might come inside! A big negative for me was in the morning went to make a coffee and both cups were upside down, the first cup was actually dirty, it had been used, still had the ring of coffee inside. I don’t expect to find that ever, the other cup seemed clean but who knows…. I mentioned it at the check out and he did take a photo of my picture, he did say that’s not up to standard. It would have been nice to get an apology from the hotel afterwards perhaps. So hence my low star for cleanliness
