"Water stopped running"

"The pictures of the property were totally accurate. Host was wonderful. The hot water doesn’t last long enough to wash your hair, but I do have a lot of hair. There were a few big scary spiders in the cottage, but the host had prepared us for the potential of bugs. There was a giant swarm of bees in the tree blocking our exit the morning we were supposed to leave, but luckily after a few hours they left or went to sleep so we could exit safely. The cottage has good sound proofing which is good because the wild roosters and stray dogs bark and crow all day and night. The cottage was very clean and had all the things we needed. It was a lovely perk that they provide a cooler, beach chairs, and a beach bag for use during your stay. Overall very pleased. "

"immaculate property with friendly efficient staff. stayed in a newly renovated briland room which was beautiful. food was delicious (although the continental breakfast is a bit sparse). beach is incredible. so wide and soft like baby powder and you can walk forever on beach or in water which is shallow and clean. there is a little putting green, tennis and pickleball, gym with sauna and ice plunge. wish they had a spa. a wonderful place. "

We were given a wonderful room with a comfortable king-size bed, and it set the tone for a fantastic stay. The staff were exceptional—helpful, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. This isn’t a 5-star hotel, but it delivered exactly what we were looking for: comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality. It felt like a true home away from home.
