Herold's Hideaway By Beach Star

Summary:

Located in one of Surfside Beach's best kept secrets, Golf Colony at Deerfield, is Herold's Hideaway. This recently remodeled 2nd floor 1 bed/1.5 bath condo overlooks a beautiful pool deck with grilling areas and a hot tub. If you are looking for a beach experience where you won't be crowed on top of the next guests, then look no further! You will still be close to the South Strand's greatest attractions like the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk, Myrtle Beach State Park, Broadway at the Beach & more.



The Space:

There is a very large bedroom containing 2 queen beds as well as a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The En Suite bath w/lockout door off the hallway provides extra privacy and there is a half bath for your guests so you don't have to share yours. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and supplies to cook yourself gourmet meals if you don't want to eat out at times. The bedroom as well as living room have HD smart tv's (one Vizio and one Roku TV). There is a spacious patio overlooking the courtyard and beautiful pool deck/grilling areas. Washer/Dryer is located in the utility closet on the patio

The Neighborhood:

Golf Colony is located in the Deerfield subdivision of Surfside Beach, comfortably sandwiched between US Hwy 17 Bypass and Hwy 17 Business and just about 1.5 miles from the closest Surfside Beach access points. There are 4 grocery stores within 2 miles along with a slew of delicious restaurants for any taste. Check out Surfside Drive and the selections near the fabulous new Surfside Pier!



Getting Around:

A Car is recommended. Uber is available in the area, but can be limited at times.



Other Things to Note:

We provide you with linens for all beds in the home as well as bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths for your stay. Additionally, there will be a roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, hand and dish soaps and 2 laundry pods and 2 dish pods. All of this is included with the "cleaning fee". You will want to bring pool/beach towels for your stay and we recommend renting our awesome super light and durable backpack style beach chairs to make your stay even more enjoyable (available through a link after your booking)!

I liked the property. It was as advertised, but lacked enough table lamps. One overhead light in the bedroom made it difficult to lounge in. The Keurig coffee maker was broken and it was impossible to get ahold of the management on the weekend. The phone number provided rang at a military installation. On Monday the coffee maker was swiftly replaced.
