"The views from the property were great. The studio was disappointing. The floors were dirty upon arrival, the curtains were filthy and torn. The single chair in the living was torn and in disrepair. There was no water in the small Kitchen area so you were carrying water from thhe bathroom. There wasn't enough tea bags. "

"Beautiful historic setting! While the room was rather basic/dated, it was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the restaurant and use of the lounges with fireplaces. Will definitely be visiting again. It’s a great place to relax and switch off. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely old hotel. To be honest the furniture in our room was a little worn, ripped chair fabric etc and the communal areas have seen better days but the place is due for a complete overhaul soon which bring back it’s original appeal. The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented . A very relaxing couple of days "
