There is a great coffee house just a 5-minute walk from the Nestt. The amenities and decor exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend staying at this adorable, quaint, private apartment. "My wife and our little Frenchie stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. It was awesome to be right in the heart of downtown Suttons Bay and watch it wake up and go back to sleep. We wish we had discovered the attic fan switch earlier because at night, when we opened the bedroom door and had that on, the bedroom cooled so fast! The back bedroom stayed a little warmer than the main room so a fan would be a good thing to pack."

"We enjoyed our stay in Traverse City. The property is on the 2nd floor but an easy climb up the flight of stairs. The apartment was very clean and we had chocolate chip cookies and chocolate covered cherries upon our arrival! We enjoyed eating breakfast at the Traverse Bay Grill, just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. If you are bothered by noise, Front St. is a very busy street. Ear plugs are provided if needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch in the evenings. All in all we enjoyed...

"The property was as advertised but if you want a warm shower don't stay here. The shower is room temperature at best. When I contacted the property manager I was asked to let the water run as it takes a long time for it to get warm. I did that with no results. When I contacted them again I was told warm water does take time for all the units on this building. We apologize and ask for your understanding. Also when the room next door flushes their toilet the shower goes ice cold. Ugh"

Also, there was a bag of laundry left outside of our door for over 24 hours. I would still stay here again and would recommend two friends."

"My wife and I had the privilege of staying here for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary. If you are looking for somewhere quaint, beautiful, secluded and surrounded by nature, this is the place. The Dunes are within walking distance. Downtown Empire and downtown Glen Arbor are both only a ten minutes' drive; while these towns are both small, there's no shortage of good food and wine."

"Karen was a great host! We enjoyed being able to walk to all of the local stores, coffee shop, and restaurants. The Traverse City Lighthouse and Fishtown are only 15 minutes away. Lots of great hiking trails with 15 minutes as well. The VRBO is a large studio unit. As advertised, there is no TV or stove. We would definitely recommend if these are not necessities for you!"
