Basic quiet apartments

Basic clean accomodation, no frills but quiet and the complex has a nice pool and restaurant. Close to the beach (5 mins downhilll) and old town (5-10 mins)

WORST POSSIBLE STAY IN BULGARIA!!!!!!

Booked this hotel for a 1 night stay as we were flying into Varna at 2am. We arrived in Sveti Vlas for around 4am so we booked this just to have a rest before we could check in to our resort in Sunny Beach. We drove around for 2 hours!! There is NO RECEPTION for this building, there is NO PHONE number ONLY a FAX number and no body speaks English. After hunting down a security guard for the complex he told us we need to check in at another hotel. Would be nice if they put this on the booking sheet!! so it is now 6am in the morning, 2 hours wasted! The receptionist says there are 20 complexes in this area all belonging to this main hotel! Nice to know it now! She says a "SECURITY GUARD" (remember this) will meet us to take us to the room. we drove back to our complex and no one is there. A very short fat guy walking around in a tank top with NO SHOES - speaks no english! is walking around. another 20 minutes past so i drove back to the hotel and complained to her about this security guard that is no where to be seen. She calls him and says he is waiting. So we drove back again and surprise it is the guy with no shoes in a tank top!! Very professional, speaks no English, walks up to someones car which was on Russian Plates and wrote the number "12" and showed with his hands "over" meaning we must go at 12.. so by now we wasted 2.5 hours and they wont even let us sleep for an extra hour or 2!???? Very nice hotel!!!! AVOID SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!
