"This cabin was an excellent base for visiting with our family members who were hiking the Appalachian Trail. It was located between Fontana Dam where we picked them up and Bryson City where we shopped and ate a lot! The cabin was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog and the driveway was very accessible and not too steep. Jackie was an excellent, responsive host. We would definitely return to this cabin!"

"The cabin is beautiful and easily fit our big family. I also appreciated the check in process and easy text communication. A couple of issues though, the frig wasn’t properly cleaned. A couple of the drawers still had juices from previous guests. The frig also stopped cooling on day 3 of 5. We were offered to use the owner’s frig on the lower level. That was nice but quite inconvenient to the kitchen and no update on if anyone was going to come fix the frig for the rest of our stay. I’d say that put a damper on our stay as we’re a big foodie family and some groceries were wasted. Overall, the house was beautiful and communication was good until an issue arises and there was no follow up besides issuing a ticket to fix "
