Slide the doors open for that indoor/outdoor feeling, or close the curtains, snuggle on the comfortable seating and enjoy a good book or the TV. There’s a dining table for four adjacent to the compact kitchen in which you’ll find an oven, hob and fridge/freezer. If you need to do some laundry while you’re away, there’s a washing machine in the boiler cupboard off the hall. Two neatly decorated bedrooms comprise a welcoming king-size and a triple with a single bunk over a double – ideal for either grown-ups or two children. They share a refreshing family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Step onto the balcony, breathe in the fresh sea air and enjoy the views over the property’s front lawn and to the waves. Stroll downhill from your door to find steps taking you to the small beach and cafe. From here, at low tide, you can walk 500 metres across the sands to Langland Bay, a family-friendly beach that’s also great for water sports and has tennis courts and a golf course nearby. Take the coastal path to Caswell Bay, 1.5 miles to the west, or Bracelet Bay, 2 miles east. Head to Mumbles (1 mile) for an ice cream and stroll along the Victorian pier.
