"The hotel was clean and comfortable. It’s definitely older and has wear and tear the ceiling tiles and nice room had water stains on them. The carpeting is older and worn. Overall the hotel is exactly what I needed it for."

"Hotel was nice, good location. Biggest problem is that they don't tell u they charge u 2x plus. There is a charge for being at the property and over $100 in taxes. Then for the room with another $80 in taxes. Parking is $69/ night. (Of course taxed). They have a nice handicap parking area. Very few carts for # of rooms. We were packing 1 and they took the cart with things on it without even knocking!"

"As I have come to expect, the Publick house was quaint, peaceful, and full of that old time charm. All interactions with staff were wonderful, as always. Ava at the Guest Desk checked me in and I have come to recognize her from past stays so always great to see an organization that retians their staff...especially highly compitent and pleasant staff members like Ava. Rest of my stay was great. While I did know there wouldn't be a refridgerator in my room (make note that not all rooms provide them) I was a bit surprised that there was only one 3 prong outlet in the bathroom where I could charge my latptop which has not been my past exeprience staying at this property. I always relish my time staying at the Publick House and look forward to my next stay in December."
