PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful staff going out of the way to make us feel welcome, thankyou "
"Top hotel. Food & service was excellent. Bed was fantastic. Lovely refurb.
Only gripe is the streaming from your own device to the TV. It kept dropping out- very annoying."
"This is an old worldy hotel with lots of memorabilia in all parts. The rooms are interesting. Unusual lighting. The beds are really comfortable. The showers wonderful.
We were upgraded which was a treat. The staff were friendly and interested."
"The staff here were amazing. Every member of staff we met or spoke to were excellent, friendly and helpful. In particular, I’d like to highlight Joanne and Roman in the Club Lounge for their excellent service.
We had a suite with a balcony which was excellent, comfortable and very well equipped. The view over Darling Harbour was fantastic. The hotel put an extra bed in for my son in advance. The bathroom was huge - with two sinks, a large bath and a separate walk-in shower. It was cleaned daily and restocked with still water. There was a Nespresso coffee machine, a fridge with mini bar, a safe, an iron & ironing board and plenty of towels and toiletries.
The hotel is right next to a main road and so there is some extra noise when you open the door to the balcony, but no more than you expect from any city centre hotel. The location is perfect for walking to all the main sights and attractions, but taxis or Ubers are always available out front.
I highly recommend this hotel. "
"Room was spacious, quiets and we had great views, being in level 27. Breakfast buffet was tastefully done, with Asian options and coofee was grt too. Convenient location to transport. Pillows were not too great though, a bit flat. "
"We were celebrating our 54th wedding anniversary and, most unexpectedly, we were treated to a bottle of champagne and beautiful nibbles platter - very much appreciated. "
