About this property

A Week in Sicily - Sea breezes and history in the heart of Ortigia

  • The scent of sea salt mixes with the sweetness of fresh fruit from the local market. In the heart of Ortigia, just steps from the sea, you can experience the folklore of an island with over 2,000 years of history, a true jewel of Magna Graecia.
Welcome to A Week in Sicily, a charming apartment located in the historic centre of Siracusa. The space was originally the office of a local magazine that carried the same name. Today, the apartment blends local heritage with modern comfort, making it the perfect base for your Sicilian adventure.
The apartment features two air-conditioned bedrooms. One has a double bed, while the other includes a double bed and a sofa that can be converted into an additional double bed. There is also a spacious living room with a comfortable sofa bed, ideal for larger families or small groups looking for extra comfort and space.
A large, fully equipped kitchen completes the home, perfect for sharing meals and moments together.
The old editorial archive has now been transformed into a spacious bathroom with a small anteroom. We couldn’t resist leaving the original sign on the door :-)
