The staff was very helpful and friendly. Although they have no parking there was plenty of free parking close by. The internet simply doesn't work. Don't count on using it on the room. You have to go to the lobby for it. The location is close enough that we walked to Ortigia and also to the archeological site. Not the prettiest site but had a good breakfast. There was a smell on the corridor/room that could be a mix of smoke or mold (couldn't identify it) but it wasn't that bad. Overall for the price it was good and I would stay there again.

Directly across from the train station and I didn’t hear anything. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was great. I wish that the bed was elevated about 8-10”. It was very comfortable but hard to get out of bed for an old man like myself!

Clean and affordable room. Close to train which was great for our trip. Croissant and drink for free breakfast. Smoke filled lobby day and night which we didn’t like.

If you are looking for a hotel which is both well-located and well-run and well-priced, look no further. The hotel is situated opposite the exit of the train station (and close to the bus stops) and about a 20 minute walk through the town centre to the island of Ortigia. The staff are friendly and accommodating, storing luggage and offering a complimentary coffee. The first floor single room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed and an efficient shower in the bathroom. By Italian standards, the breakfast choice was good and plentiful and a bar is available. All in all, a pleasant stay in a small hotel.
