good location

I'm giving a four star rating mainly because of the very central location (right near the bus stop to the mainland train station) and also because it has a nice outdoor patio on the upper floor, to use when the weather is fine. However there are some things travelers should note:- the kitchen space is very small so cooking anything more than a simple meal is restricted;- there is no living room or sofa (other than the outdoor patio)- neighboring buildings are close by and noise can be intrusive- there is a pervasive smell of cigarette smoke in the apartment- there is no iron or ironing boardFor travelers wanting a convenient location it's a good choice, but not for those wanting all the comforts of home

Fabulous location!!

The location of this place was amazing! The city itself was definitely an area you should explore, but having everything walking distance from the apartment was spectacular! The apartment was super clean, comfortable, had snacks and coffee, washing machine for clothes if you need, and the beds were comfy too. The check in process was made super easy, so when the unit is ready you can let yourself in using the lock box. Just like any other home in Italy there’s not that much hot water if you have more than two people taking a hot/warm shower in the morning. Also because everything is so close together you can hear the neighbors but it’s expected again for places in Italy. It was perfectly fine for the 3 us of but next time I’d stay here again just with 1 other person instead :) This really is the perfect spot and I’d totally come back next time in Sicily!!
