The apartment is for the exclusive use of guests. The outdoor courtyard, equipped with tables and chairs and perfect for breakfast or relaxing, is shared with the other guests at the property.

The Syracuse municipal tourist tax is not included in the booking price and must be paid EXCLUSIVELY in cash. The tourist tax is 4% of the gross booking price. The property does not have private parking; however, you can park for free on public streets in the white-lined parking spaces. There is also a paid car park across from the building. A large paid car park, “Parking Molo S. Antonio,” is located about 400–500 metres away. The accommodation is equipped with an electronic card for door access and electricity. To open the door, hold the card up to the reader and wait a few seconds for the door to open automatically. The location is also ideal for visiting many famous sites in eastern Sicily, such as Taormina (1 hour and 30 minutes by car), Mount Etna (about 1 hour), Modica (1 hour and 15 minutes by car). Additionally, if you stay longer, you’ll automatically receive a discounted rate. Our home is delivered perfectly clean and disinfected, with a set of sheets and towels already laid out on the beds. The Sbarcadero (Santa Lucia Pier) is an area in the city centre that overlooks the marina and Ortigia, featuring a small beach, a summer swimming area, and many yacht clubs. Very close to the house are restaurants, bars, and all kinds of shops, and it’s just a short walk from many must-see attractions such as Ortigia, the Greek Theatre, and Corso Gelone and Corso Matteotti, the main shopping streets. You can take a boat tour just a short walk from the house, or enjoy relaxing walks along the nearby bike path. Guests will be contacted via Airbnb messaging. To obtain access credentials, guests must submit copies of their passports through Airbnb in order to comply with Italian regulations on short-term rentals. The apartment is located in a historic late-19th-century building that has been recently renovated. The space is elegant and refined and is designed as a studio apartment suitable for couples seeking a peaceful stay. The entryway leads to the living area, which features a dining table, a sofa, and a kitchen. The living area is separated from the sleeping area by a wall with oak slats arranged to provide privacy while still allowing light to filter through and giving the bedroom a sense of airiness and spaciousness. The bathroom is very spacious and features a large walk-in shower. The apartment is located right in the city centre in the “La Borgata” area. Our strategic location allows you to reach the historic centre of Ortigia in just 8–10 minutes on foot, as well as all the main points of interest. The area features restaurants, cafes, pizzerias, ice cream shops, supermarkets, and offices. The building overlooks the “Porto Piccolo,” one of the most picturesque spots in the entire city, with its boats, piers, and beach—where, during the summer, you can swim or sunbathe on the public sun decks that are set up there. From the harbour, you can also take boat excursions. From the small harbour (Syracuse’s new marina), you can reach the island of Ortigia by sailing along the coast.
