We did not stay at Lenscape coterie as it was undergoing renovations and therefore not open. We were relocated to another hotel in the group Torel Saboaria where we had a wonderful room. The breakfast was superb we had lunch and dinner which were equally as good as breakfast. We cannot thank all the staff enough as everyone was so kind, helpful and attentive even to the point of providing gluten free pancakes at breakfast.

Paid for river view and it did not disappoint! great proximity to lots of things. Just far enough away to be super quiet and relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing. Rooftop was super lovely. Room was well appointed and comfortable.
Only minor complaint: at the price i paid per night... i was really hassled for bottled water in my room. Silly.

Well maintained but low 4 stars hotel. I was expected better. So far not very happy with Expedia hotels.
We've traveled to 2 countries and 4 cities, mostly all the hotels were very disappointing.

Perfect retreat for some quiet
"The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple ..."

"The property was beautiful, but I found that the amenities were lacking for guests. Only certain things were available at certain times, the staff could not provide milk for my coffee in the morning, I had to get it from the kitchen, and apparently they are not the same company. It just seemed weird. ..."
