"Came to Bakersfield for a family party. The house was awesome!!! We will rent again. We stay in houses as we like to gather and cook. The kitchen was minimally stocked. One small fry pan and small stock pot was a challenge but we made it work. I now build a “vacation tub” that I put what I need. We ran to store for showering soap and kurig pods but overall great stay!"

"Four friends met at the Mayor’s House to vacay together. It was very relaxing and beautiful. Cleaning crew was still there upon our arrival after 4 pm but left shortly thereafter. They advised the vacuum cleaner broke, so we swept the house each day. Having a washer and dryer was great. We planned ahead and brought our own laundry soap and dryer sheets as none was provided. "Lovely property with great gathering spaces for large families. Only negative was that there was no mirror in the third bathroom and the two bedrooms that used that bathroom. Otherwise great space with nice backyard as well. Communication with host was easy and responded quickly. We will use again next time we all gather in Bakersfield."
