Abetina Apartment is located in the “La Piccola Svizzera” residence, a natural area near the historic centre of Tagliacozzo, in the heart of Abruzzo. This place, which owes its name to its resemblance to Swiss mountain landscapes—characterised by fir trees—is a much-loved destination for its natural beauty, tranquility, and fresh air, especially among families and groups of friends. There are various activities to enjoy in the surrounding area.
Hiking Trails and Nature Walks: The area is criss-crossed by numerous trails that allow hikers to explore the woods, admire the local flora, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, with trails of varying difficulty levels. Among the most famous are the Cammino dei Briganti, the Beatrice Cenci Caves, and the Luppa Caves.
It’s also ideal for rock climbing in the Simbruini Mountains, cycling tours, or practising yoga and meditation. All of this is just a few minutes from Tagliacozzo, a charming medieval village rich in history and authenticity.
The town organises many events and festivals to help visitors discover the beauty of the fall foliage, the Christmas atmosphere, or the countless summer activities.
