"Small room, small price. This is not a normal hotel room. No chairs, very little floor space. We just needed a place to store our luggage and take a shower (in the shared bathroom) before a long flight. It worked very well for that purpose."

"We usually stay at the Motel right above the airport. The beds are very hard there so tried here. Owner met us at airport. Great place very close to airport. Will stay tlat Manaevafrom now on. "

"This is like a hillside garden paradise overlooking Teahupo’o and surrounding ocean. Staff is as accommodating as one can get. They are marvelous. The chef is a young man that cooks excellent meals. The bungalow was immaculately clean and one also feels living in nature. Like high quality glamping but perhaps better. The shampoo and shower gel is divine (Tiare)."

"The pros: Our room was large and had good climate control (air conditioning is very important here!). There was a mini fridge and microwave as well as storage space. There was space to park our rental car, and food marts within walking distance. We could also walk to the Papeete waterfront and market fairly easily. There was outdoor sitting space specific to our room. The cons: This hotel is extremely difficult to find and does not have good signage. The unmarked road looks like an alley. I...

"Very helpful in allowing us early entry after an early morning arrival in Papeete. We were able to wait around the pool area, in the shade, until our room was ready, before the normal,11 am check in time. No problem either with a 5am check out."

"Pension Pare Lodge was amazing. Very clean and friendly staff. The environment at Pare was serene and relaxing. We loved the pool, the chickens and their antics, and the cute dog. I would highly recommend Pension Pare Lodge. "

"Simply amazing, we had an Ocean View Bungalow for just the one night (if we had the time we would have loved to have stayed longer). Private beach, swimming pool, comfortable bed and so private, we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Highly recommend for couples or people like us who have spent weeks at sea and instead of staying overnight in Papeete on our Cruise Ship opted to rent a car and see the the real Tahiti. Loved it. "

"Perfect location to see all of Tahiti. We went to see surfing At Teahupo’o and stayed in this town with a grocery store and restaurants. Once the upstairs kitchen is complete it will be a perfect gem. "
