"likes: EXCELLENT location in the middle of Tahoe City, available parking, had a fridge with freezer, clean linens and comfortable beds, shower pressure was fine and the bathroom was generally clean, pretty view of the lake from the upper floors, good check-in/check-out hours, had a system in place to contact staff if something was needed after hours (did not need this). oh and they allow dogs!! concerns: 1. AC would have been helpful - we discovered too late that there was a fan, and that may have sufficed, but, without either, it was hard to sleep even though it had only been ~80degrees that day. 2. the lower garage appeared to have been last used during ski season and was filthy - old sand, rocks, debris, dirty walls and dark/dingy. it hadn't been swept, etc in months. (The main parking area was fine.) The elevator was old and slow and definitely needed a clean but we were grateful it worked (we were on the 7th floor). The landing/open air hallway outside of the rooms definitely needed sweeping and mopping. overall, you are paying for the location and the place is clean enough where it matters. Attention to cleaning in the common, outdoor areas would go a long way towards making this place better value for the money"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really loved our stay at this house. It is very comfortable and the location is amazing - very quiet but still so convenient to restaurants, shops and outdoor activities, especially being able to walk to Lake Tahoe!!!!The backyard is fantastic for relaxing at the end of the day.The upstairs is a great opportunity for friends and guests. The stairs are a little steep (although still well managed by my 80 year old, relatively active parents) and note that the bathrooms are downstairs. Overall. loved our stay. Would definitely recommend it!"

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Lake Tahoe cabin. It was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable family vacation. The location was perfect, with an easy walk into town and to the beach, and everything else nearby.We truly loved the cabin and all of its amenities. It was a great place for our family to relax and enjoy Lake Tahoe, and we would absolutely look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

The Tahoe City area of the region seemed to be a little more upscale than other areas, but was also friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit. Thanks!"

"Adorable property with thoughtful updates in a great location. We appreciated the extra touches, especially the large dog crate available for guests traveling with pets. The backyard has plenty of potential and would be even more enjoyable with a table and chairs or sofas to create a comfortable outdoor seating area."
