My wife and I had a fantastic stay at this cabin on the west shore. The location could not be better. Not only do you have a lake view from the dining room, but you are walking distance to several wonderful trails, across the street from a coffee shop, burger joint, and tavern, and literally a five minute walk from a small market that has necessities. Though we chose this spot because of its proximity to some backcountry ski trails, we ended up hiking since there wasn't a ton of snow this early in the season. That ended up being really great, though, as we found some great spots to go just walking out of the cabin.Amenities-wise, the cabin was plenty warm due to a few baseboard heaters supplemented by some portable space heaters. The kitchen was well stocked for the cooking we did, with plenty of sharp knives, bowls, etc. Appliances are in great shape. Coffee is a keurig maker, and one small suggestion would be to add a french press. Wifi was about 80-100mbps, which should be plenty for anyone who needs to work or have multiple kids watching videos. The hot tub on the deck was also great, especially after a long day in the snow. It's well maintained. The view of the stars from the hot tub was outstanding. The bed was very comfy and the mattress was firm. Parking was easy and it's nice that the cabin is down the street from the road. The area was quiet at night. We would absolutely stay again and would recommend the cabin to others.
