"Outside appearance not great but our little room was clean and comfortable. Queen bed, bathtub to soak after skiing, microwave and fridge all included. Had to do the check in at a different hotel but it was only 2 hotels over. Ate at an excellent pizza place right across the street. Good food and service."

"Debbie is an amazing host! We were planning a ski weekend with a group of friends, but were discouraged when we saw that a blizzard was predicted during our stay. Debbie was so responsive and understanding as we tried to figure out if it would be safe to go. My partner and I work remotely so we were able to come up the day before the storm and Debbie let us stay an additional night for a discount. "The property is clean, comfortable, and well tended! The lake view and access to the beach don’t get any better. The property management people were very proactive and responded quickly to a few questions. I’d very definitely stay in this property again in the future."

Biggest gripe comes in parking; garage door was not operating and there are VERY few non-garages spots leaving me to park in a grocery store parking lot nearby many evenings. I was using the property a week and there was no change in this issue for the entirety of the stay."

"We loved this cabin! From the well appointed kitchen to the great layout for multiple families this cabin has it all! We were able to ski and snowshoe nearby. Quite possibly our favorite place we’ve stayed, we plan on returning!"

"House is in a great location close to state line and pretty spacious. The bar/game room was really nice. Only minor issues we had were the hot water runs out quickly when multiple people are showering and the 3rd step from the bottom going downstairs is slightly different than the rest so a tripping hazard if you aren’t paying attention. Otherwise the house was perfect!"

"Overall I would recommend renting this house. Downsides: It wasn't the cleanest when we arrived (dust and dirt on the floor, a hair folded into the "clean" towels). None of the balconies had been cleared of snow. The bathroom of the room I stayed in lacked counter space or a place to hang the hand towel from and the kitchen had no towels (only paper towels). "We really enjoyed our stay at Cubby Bear and made good use of the amenities including the BBQ which had back up propane which was nice. Having the garage door opener available was really helpful for returning from our ski trips. Would stay here again for sure."
