The bed was comfy, and the fireplace and ambiance perfect. The location was close to restaurants and attractions. We recommend this cottage as a getaway for anyone."

"This historic cabin was just our style. Clean, charming, quiet, and comfortable. We thought check in was easy. Customer service was excellent. The kayaking was really fun! The river side and nature trail was enjoyable. There is a lovely shop and wine/beer bar with outside seating across the street. We will be back! "

"The room was as described and quite rustic. We could see gaps around the door and A/C unit which was fine at first, but when getting ready for bed we saw a disturbing large spider walk across the floor. I didn’t get a picture of that @$$ but my estimate is that it had a nickel/quarter sized body with some legs for the fashion runway. Long story long, we decided to sleep in the car instead of the room because of that freakishly large spider trying to provide an unrequested turndown service."

"The hotel is older, but very nice. It was clean, and the room was very spacious. The staff were amazing! Very friendly and accommodating. We will go there again."
"Great place for a few nights. Clean, friendly staff, quaint room overlooking the lake, awesome continental breakfast and the staff went out of their way to help, recommend and just be really good decent people. Rarely find this level of genuine hospitality these days. Hats off to this little gem of a hotel"
"I was really impressed with how beautiful the room had been redecorated. It felt very luxurious and elegant. The bed was very comfortable and it was wonderful. The TV didn't bring channels in very clearly, but it was fine. The only problem was that the walls seemed pretty thin, there was a lot of noise from other rooms and outside that disrupted my sleep periodically through the night and in the morning. I am a light sleeper so there's that. This place would be absolutely perfect if you are a deep sleeper and you like the feel of clean and luxury without the price tag! It was very reasonable and quite lovely! And I should also say that the check-in and check out the process was incredibly easy as all I needed to do was find the room and punch in the code! And all of the payments were taken care of via my online booking so I didn't even have to check out! When I had a question I called and the answer was provided promptly."
"Nice place. Only issue was the breakfast did not have enough food. There was an hour left in the serving time and we asked for food to be added as we had not received any and they did not replace any"
"Loved the location, beautiful view, clean room and property, helpful and friendly staff. Only complaint is the breakfast and coffee. But free is free so there’s that."
