"This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I truly appreciate their cleanliness and excellent service. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more pleasant. It’s definitely a great choice — reasonably priced and within walking distance to the train station. However, the breakfast spread could use some improvement. The variety is quite limited, and the menu doesn’t seem to change much from day to day."

"I stayed here for 8 days and it was such a pleasant experience. Meander 1948 was kind enough to offer a free guided tour with one of their amazing employees PJ (keep in mind to pay for your own transportation fares and meals expenses which is roughly under $500 TWD equivalent to just about $16 USD) along with the hotel company treating to a delicious fun dessert snack at the end of the tour. It all depends how much you want to drop as well, this is just a guesstimate combining expenditures for the day. The 8 bed dorm room was super comfortable. The lounging area is very peaceful and tranquil. You meet such cool amazing people in there that are traveling or studying abroad. It’s central to lots of fun and local spots. One of the night markets (Ningxia) is about a 10 min walk. The MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) is only a block or two away from the hostel. It’s just such a great location and super affordable. Highly recommended as a solo traveler. The Meander staff is super helpful and will provide any information to help in any way possible. Thanks Meander 1948. "Rooms are cleaned daily, with the option to opt out. It’s very close to the Taipei main station for convenient travel anywhere. The bed is comfortable and you can control the light brightness and color through an iPad in the room. "
