Always a good place to stay

Always a good stay at Novotel Taiping, staff is responsive when informed of any issues and always friendly. One slight issue if I always have issues with the in room safe on all three trips so far.

The hotel is overall good. It’s conveniently located and attached to a mall. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s just not clean to the standard I’m used to. Stains on the couch. Mouldy bathroom sink. Coffee station probably hasn’t ever been clean. Coffee stains everywhere. I had to clean the coffee station before I could use it. The bed was clean. I booked two rooms. One for my parents and one for myself. Both cost the same but both were not identical. One was smaller than the other. I was told they were both in the same category but that they were not the same. ?? Eventually they reassigned my parents to the same bigger room as mine.

Location: shopping distance

Best place to do shopping, with the really affordable shopping mall next door. Plus, I like that the parking on the 6th floor is only for guests of the hotel.

I loved the location with its views of the Maxwell hills and the lake gardens. The location was also across the street from hawker stalls. The facility was clean and modern. Staff were friendly.
