"The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, they kindly allowed me to practice my bad Japanese but they also spoke some English, so it was easy to communicate. As I was leaving they gave me a little origami pig as a good luck charm - very sweet. I was in a mixed shared room which was very clean and comfortable. The facilities were great, with showers, a laundry room and a private bathtub which you could rent for an additional ¥300. The hostel is conveniently located near to many shrines...

"Conveniently located near a subway station in a quiet back street, within walking distance of many attractions. The place is nearly new, with a pleasant interior featuring natural wood fittings. Typically in Japan, the rooms are compact, but we actually had more room to move here than in some more expensive hotels we stayed in. I would suggest providing a chair. Overall, we enjoyed our six nights here and would be happy to return."
