Excellent location with onsite parking. Walking distance to all attractions and shops. Rooms were clean & nicely furnished. Compact yet cozy with good amenities. Hotel provided a recommended list cafes/restaurants. There was also free flow of drinks during tea and post dinner (including sake) at Lobby area. Would definitely stay here again.

What a treasure this is. Lovely rooms with comfortable futon mattresses on raised tatami mats. Clean bathrooms with smaller shower cubical. Traditional Japanese bento breakfasts were very tasty and rice also available.

The room is quite small and spartan but the location and amenities make up for this. The hotel is in the middle of the old town. It is an 8 min walk to the Miyagawa morning market. There is a nice onsen on the premises and they offer free drinks and sake tasting every night in the lobby area. Lots of restaurants nearby serving hida beef. Highly recommend.

Bed very confortable - walking distance from all the best places in Takayama - we would stay here again if we come back.
