"This hotel is located in middle of nowhere. 30 minutes walk to any nearby restaurant. There are no taxis in the area and bike rentals are only allowed until 5pm. Your only real option is to eat at the hotel restaurant. Both buffets at breakfast and dinner was absolutely terrible! Hodge podge of food that seemed like they just made whatever was available. Not much protein, runny eggs. Despite the cost, not even tea, coffee, soda, or juice was included in price. Lunch options were a la carte and marginally better but very small portions. The rooms were big and spacious with good size balcony to dry wet clothes. Was not able to enjoy spa as it was open odd hours (only open from 6-9am and then the evenings so closed majority of the daytime). If I come back to Ishigaki, I would stay in the city and not this area or hotel."
