Holy Sheet Plus, Boutique Hotel

"We stayed at the Holy Sheet during our recent family trip. The hotel was easy to locate (signage posted on street poles, showing directions to elevator entrance). Once you arrived on the 9th floor, you do have to climb one more set of stairs, but the staff was there to carry our luggage up for us. The rooms were very spacious and had fantastic balconies. We were a family of 4 and the room was perfect! The also have a great terrace for breakfast/drinks, which is a very nice spot to relax. They held our luggage before our check-in time and again, after check-in, so that we could go straight to the airport from the hotel. They even arranged us a ride to help with all of our luggage. This hotel was located perfectly and we were very happy with our stay!"

"We had a very good stay at the Sofitel. The pool area was very nice and the lobby is beautiful. Only drawback is the smoke in the lobby. Makes it harder to enjoy. Room was a bit small as well but ok. Staff were helpful. The other Sofitel in Cairo is at a better location though so I would stay there next time."

"Room clean and spacious, room service is excellent very friendly staff I only had to wait for about half an hour to get my room at check in. But this is understandable. Breakfast is tasty, in room food is well served"

"Lovely Pension type hotel, occupies 2 developed gigantic apartments in one of downtown Cairo’s buildings from the glory days. High level of finishing and attention to detail for Cairo standard. Location, Location, Location. In the heart of downtown, in the middle of it all. Or a short hop to any destination. Must visit: cafe American, cafe Riche, fulfill for street food brought inside. Makan for a psychedelic session. Try to request a Fourth Floor Room. Where windows are soundproof."

"We arrived late at night, and the driver that was supposed to have a sign at the exit of the airport hall didn't have a sign, and we couldn't find him. Finally after going back and forth on WhatsApp, we were connected and had our ride into town. We were met on the street side by the night clerk who carried all our bags and got us checked in and to our room. The whole hotel is on the third floor of a building in the middle of an open air market. The elevators are of questionable safety, but always worked for us. They were not clean by any means. However the hotel rooms are lots of marble and good facilities. There is no lack of hot water, and the bathroom was very good, although the shower leaked onto the floor. Our room was cleaned very nicely every day, and things were restocked. In Egypt you don't drink the tap water or use ice cubes. so they had started us with two bottles of water. We added much more during the week. It had a coffee machine and a teapot. We boiled water in the teapot and used that for brushing our teeth, letting the boiling process kill any little water travelers that might cause problems. The internet was slow at best, but at least it was there. Quite a number of drop-outs, but I suspect that was the internet provider rather than the hotel. The signal from the router was strong and consistent. My wife was suspicious of the neighborhood, but realized that she had expressed an interest in clothes shopping, and we were in the middle of market!"

"The room was really big and comfortable. It was clean and welcoming. Buffet breakfast in the morning was rich with great variety of food. Members of staff are all incredibly helpful and super professional. Overall an amazing experience."
