Our room needs some maintenance. There was no shower door. The TVs did not get any signal for cable.

Thank you for staying with us. I'll review your reservation to see which room you were in. The roll in showers do not have shower doors, all of our rooms have shower curtains. The cable was out due to the tornados that ripped through Tallahassee just a few days before. I'm pleased to report that cable is back up and running. Sorry Mother Nature affected your stay.

Shower drip caused flood in bathroom which we were told is a common problem at the hotel. Rooms were spacious and kitchen was well equipped.

Pro: The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. The biscuits were my favorite…delicious! Nice staff. Con: The floor in my room was filthy. It’s visually not noticeable because of the wood grain tile but my feet were black. I had to put towels on the floor to keep my feet clean. Pity because it’s really a very nice hotel with a nice staff, however, housekeeping needs to do a better job mopping the room’s floor. Unacceptable!

I travel a lot, and this hotel was one of the best that I've stayed at. It was very well maintained, real new looking, and the rooms were phenomenal. The grounds are exemplary, and overall the stay with first class!

Booked a king suite through Expedia. Arrived and only a queen suite was available. Would not have picked this hotel if we knew this. Breakfast was ok…most items were out (juice machine, milk). Hotel was running short staffed.

It was very obvious the bedding had not been changed. I’m not just talking about sheets either. There was hair and debris under the sheets as well as on the sheets.

Our first room smelled like smoke, possibly pot. Not sure how the cleaning person missed it, unless the cleaning person did the smoking. They did kindly move us to another room, which did not smell. It was clean, but the faucet in the tub leaked. Pillows were pretty flat. The carpet in front of the door next to us was littered with dirt, dust & a plastic fork. Not sure where that came from. Breakfast was good and it was nice to have fresh fruit. Lady working the breakfast area was friendly & nice. Lobby & breakfast area was nice, but I think the rooms could maybe use a refresh. Nice bar in the lobby area, but it was closed. And we were there on a Sat night. Not sure why. Maybe a staffing issue? We did use the free laundry room, which was a nice bonus you don’t find at other hotels.

This is a wonderful property with beautiful grounds to enjoy. This will be our go to stop when heading to family in Fl.

This property sits on a private lake that has an over water gazebo. Very relaxing "backyard" whether you sit on the back porch, bbq at the 2 outdoor areas, or sit over the water. The room offerings allow for all types of ttavellers comfort. The beds are very comfy. They offer both firm and soft pillows. The kitchen areas allow for a full size meal prep and service as well as just quick snacks. The fridge also has an ice maker so no trips down the hall for refills. The FREE laundry is awesome! The only thing that I was displeased with was the breakfast. There needs to be more than 1 waffle maker. There was no milk available for the cereal offering. Having trays available to make it easy for parents to make multiple meals at once for multiple children.

Room was very clean and had lots of room to spread out. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Property was clean. Check in was easy. Breakfast buffet had hot and cold selections and was very good. Would definitely stay here again.
