"I had a wonderful time here, the atmosphere was quiet and felt very traditional. The baths were wonderful, and I enjoyed many long soaks over my two day stay. "Traditional ryokan in for the night was lovely! Room was very traditional and staff were polite. We had breakfast and dinner which was interestin. The views and private onsen were lovely and I felt very relaxed there. Only improvements would be to allow luggage storage/transport to station and cleaner onsen. "

"Everything superb. Room with onsen was amazing. Staff beyond belief. Breakfast tasty and varied. Across the bridge is an excellent sushi restaurant. Only downside is location requires shuttle or taxi to get to Gora Station. They provide free shuttle from 10 am to 6 pm. Also, we don’t like western dinners and that’s all that was available. Highly recommended."
