"We loved our time at the ryokan. They picked us up & dropped us off from the train station which made it an easy choice from our time in Kyoto. We opted for the dinner and breakfast- both were amazing. The amenities were awesome & our only regret is not staying longer! (It is off a busy road/highway so you do hear some traffic but the convenience outweighed any negatives from car traffic for us)"

"What a great place... Everything was great! As a ryokan, the room was Japanese style, no shoes. The staff was not very conversant in English...enough to get by... and it could NOT have been better. The onsens were fantastic, eating in our yakatas a true experience. At dinner, the staff knew about our allergies and dislikes. The unbelievably wonderful waitress from Vietnam (I foolishly didn't get her name.) assured us at the beginning of our multi course meal that she and they would take care of us and that we had nothing to worry about. I LOVE THE GRAND HOTEL!"
