"We had booked this hotel after staying at the Hyatt Detroit Royal Oak. Wrong decision… the website showed a bar, the eatery restaurant, and a pool. We arrived in the evening and planned on just eating at the hotel. I asked about the bar at check-in, they said the bar is closed (no license), we asked about the restaurant, was told it’s only breakfast. The girls wanted to swim, well the pool was closed for maintenance. We were told last night that it was under new ownership so they were not able To have the bar or dinner, and that they were getting a new pool maintenance crew. The glasses in our room were dirty, and literally stuck to the shelf, only had 1 towel in the room, which makes you wonder how well the room was actually cleaned before us. The pull-out sofa sleeper had what appeared to be electrical tape holding the cushions together. We travel often for youth sports. This hotel was a big disappointment!"

"The only thing I didn't like was that there was neither a microwave nor a dryer in my room—both are very necessary for daily living. On the 7th floor, there is a microwave that doesn't work, and the one on the 1st floor is always too busy."

"The room was outdated and there were small damages like a piece of trim missing and the bottom of the bathroom door was chewed up. But it was clean. Definitely want to bring pillows because for a king size bed we're had 4 tiny pillows. We didn't stay for breakfast because we had an early appt. It was ok to stay for 1 night"

"It nicely price for a quick overnight trip alot close by restaurants for quick bite to eat and the staff was pretty helpful and Friendly."

"My go-to place to stay when I’m traveling in the area. Clean, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. Great location as well. "

"The towels were covered in black hair, there was pubic hair in the tub. Didn't get any sleep because people in the next room was blowing music and yelling, which started around 2am and lasted the rest of the night. Called front desk, lady said she would be up but never did. Did talk to the manager in the morning before checking out and he did apologize for the inconvenience."
